This month we made some significant behind-the-scenes improvements to our calendar, including speeding things up, fixing some issues and improving quality of life! Check out some of these and other updates below:
Client Portal & Booking
- On mobile, the Client Portal calendar now scrolls to display the date details when you tap a day
- All-day events no longer display as options on the Book from Calendar form
- Registration fees are now correctly displayed in the subtotal when adding additional clients
- We fixed an issue that was preventing substitute trainers from appearing on public booking forms when more than one category is filtered
Calendar & Attendance
- We’ve made improvements to the calendar to improve loading times
- Dragging an event in the calendar will adjust the time by 5 minute increments
- Event pop-up messages on the calendar now properly display email and SMS reminder icons
- Calendar syncing to Outlook now works as expected
- Inactive clients can no longer be searched for in the calendar
- We updated the ability to swipe the calendar to be consistent between iOS and Android
- We fixed an issue that was causing the mobile calendar to appear to start on a Wednesday
- Events in Agenda View now scroll to their scheduled time when added or updated
- Dragging an event that has an attached weekly hold timeslot to a day more than 7 days ago no longer automatically removes the hold
- You can now use the enter key to select a client from the attendees list when creating a new calendar event
- You can now copy the calendar feed URL directly from the options menu to facilitate calendar syncing
- Creating new events in Day View now defaults to the date selected instead of today’s date
- We fixed an error that was occurring when trying to move a recurring event too far into the future
- When updating the details of an event in a series, the default selection is now to only update and consider the details of the current session and to prompt whether future events should be updated too
- We fixed an issue where creating a Quick Add Session was using the trainer’s default category instead of the client
- Sessions can no longer be dragged-and-dropped to a trainer that a client has an inactive billing profile with (and a warning will appear if attempted)
- Fixed an error that was occurring when trying to create a new non-training event
- We improved the functionality of events with no trainers assigned, including removing the option to select Client Default as a pricing option, improving filters & displays, and fixing issues with saving an event
Trainers & Staff
- A warning now appears when trying to add a new trainer or staff member with the same name/email as one that already exists
- Trainers with “Edit Own Sessions” permission can now delete and/or clone entire days (as long as all the session in the day are theirs)
- Trainers with the privilege to view (but not manage) other trainers can now filter the calendar by trainer
General/Other
- We updated the Add Transactions menu so that accounts are now alphabetical, searchable, and load faster
- Various cosmetic tweaks throughout
