Adding Clients - Athleta Desk

Step 1: Adding Athletes

You can’t run sessions if you don’t have any clients. So, let’s start by adding clients to AthletaDesk. You can either add each athlete manually or you can import a client list.

Adding Clients Manually:

  1. Log into your AthletaDesk account.
  2. Click on “Clients” from the main menu on the left.
  3. Click on the green “+ New Client” button.
  4. Enter in your client details (client first and last name are required).
  5. Choose whether this new client belongs to a “New Family” or an “Existing Family“.
  6. Enter in your family contact details (parent first and last name are required).
  7. Click the green “Finish” button.

Importing Client List:

  1. Log into your AthletaDesk account.
  2. Click on your name in the top right corner and select “My Preferences”.
  3. Scroll down to the “New Client Default Setting”.
  4. Make the necessary changes that best reflect the majority of your clients.
  5. Click on “Clients” in the main menu on the left.
  6. Click on “Tools” > “Import Clients“.
  7. Copy & paste your client data from your favorite spreadsheet application, such as Microsoft Excel or Numbers, into the space provided.
  8. Click “Next” and follow the prompts. Map any additional data as required.
  9. Click “Finish“.

Tip: The default duration and billing (we pre-selected $30 per 30 minute session) can be changed in “My Preferences”. To change this, click on your name in the top right corner and select “My Preferences”. Scroll down to the “New Athlete Default Setting” and make the necessary changes that best reflect the majority of your athletes. Keep in mind; this is simply a default. Any athlete can later be edited to have a unique session length or billing type.
